Vaporizer – colloquially called a vaporizer, is a single electronic device used to vaporise vapour for inhalation. Inhaled substances can be burned, commonly tobacco, plant fibre, or herbal blends of essential oil or incense. There are two types of vaporizers: dry and wet. The differences between the two types are:
Dry vaporizers work more on trapping the flavouring and aroma of the herb, while wet vaporizers work to add moisture to the air. Some herbs do not like being dried out, thus the flavouring can change from time to time. A dry vaporizer does not remove all the oils in the herb, thus they are recommended to be kept in a humidifier. Humidifiers increase the moisture in the air, thus reducing nasal stuffiness and providing instant relief.
When using a vaporizer to combat allergies, such as asthma, it has been found that the inhalation of fresh vapours can help in the prevention and reduction of asthma. The vapour is rich in antioxidants, fatty acids, proteins, Vitamin C, as well as many other micro-nutrients. This makes it a potent weapon in the fight against asthma. By inhaling the vapours, the vapors provide an environment that is less tolerant to allergens, thereby reducing the risks of asthma. You can get more information about vaporizer pen
Vaporizers that are made for home use work with a heating element and a fan. The heating element heats water, which in turn warms the air added to the vaporizer. When the water reaches a certain temperature, it begins to evaporate, thus removing the burnt flavouring, scent, or odour. This process does not remove any particles of the allergens though. All that is removed is the watery essence of the aroma.
Since the heat is added to the vaporizer, the herbs are roasted at specific temperatures. At high temperatures, the herb retains more of its oils, whilst at lower temperatures, the oils are lost. Most vaporizers can withstand mists of up to 350 degrees Fahrenheit, so a mug of herbal tea can be enjoyed on the porch even when outside.
Vaporizers are safe for children to use. They are clean and pure, without any chemicals or toxins. It is advisable to always follow the manufacturer’s directions when using vaporizers, especially when using them with alcohol or any other flavored drinks. Always keep your vaporizers clean by wiping them down periodically, and replace batteries as necessary.
The type of heating system that you use will depend on the final result that you are looking to achieve. Heat convection, which is a two-stage heating method, uses a fanning motion to blow heated air through the heating coil. Induction heating is similar in principle to a forced air furnace, but does not require a heating element. Convection is the most efficient of all three methods, however it produces the coolest smoke. Vaporizers that utilize a convection heating system produce the smoothest and coolest vapors.
In the home, we typically use a portable vaporizer that utilizes a heating element. The majority of these units utilize a concentrate, or concentrated herb. Concentrated herb is essentially dried leaves, buds, or flowers. You must know which kind of concentrate you should use depending on the amount of flavoring that you wish to include. Vaporizers that utilize a concentrate are not only safer to use than vaporizers that utilize a base unit, but they produce the greatest amount of vapor production.
